In the 90s an exceptional barrow of a Celtic prince was discovered on nearby Glauberg. This location became famous by this sensational find with several graves, a procession route and the life-size stone figure of a Celtic warrior with grave furnishings of the 5th century before Christ. Bad Salzhausen is a part of Nidda. The marketplace with its historical fountain is the perfect starting point for a short stroll through the pedestrian area with its lovely half-timbered houses. Small pubs, pretty bistros and an old-fashioned hotel brewery cater for all tastes.
